Dedicated to Maternal Care
ABOUT ZOE'S RESORT OF GEORGIA
Zoe's Resort of Georgia brings hospitality excellence to healthcare.
Founded by Trina Johnson Pettiford, RN with 20 years of neonatal nursing experience, we help Georgia and Florida hospitals transform maternal and neonatal care through evidence-based training and trauma-informed system redesign.
Our name reflects our philosophy: every mother deserves to be welcomed, heard, and cared for with the attention and compassion we'd give a valued guest at a world-class resort.
With specialized expertise in NAS/NOWS (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome), we provide practical training that hospital staff can implement immediately—reducing NICU stays by 70%, preventing missed maternal emergencies, and building trust with vulnerable families.
Georgia's maternal mortality crisis (37.9 deaths per 100,000 births) demands action. Florida's disparities (Black mothers dying at 3X the rate) demand change. With 85% of maternal deaths preventable, we have the power to save lives.
Zoe's Resort of Georgia exists to make that happen—one hospital, one training, one saved life at a time.
In addition to consulting, we're developing a future medical care center for medically fragile children—bringing resort-style compassion to families who need it most.
Because every family deserves to feel cared for, not processed. Supported, not judged. Heard, not dismissed.
