THE CRISIS WE'RE ADDRESSING
Georgia and Florida are facing urgent maternal and infant health emergencies:
• Georgia: 37.9 maternal deaths per 100,000 births (worst in the nation)
• Florida: Black mothers dying at 3X the rate of white mothers
• Both states: 85% of maternal deaths are PREVENTABLE
• NAS/NOWS crisis: Babies staying in NICU 23+ days, costing $100,000+ per case
Recent Texas cases—mothers begging hospital staff for help, being ignored, and delivering babies alone in bathrooms—prove our healthcare systems are failing the families who need us most.
This is preventable. And we're committed to preventing it.
